Through movement, film, original music + interactive lighting elements, tbd. dance collective and filmmaker Nik Fackler will transform our shared space into an experience of shifting realities and collective consciousness – examining the line between audience and performer. Reality Tbd. will premier a new dance film entitled “Waiting for Reality” in conjunction with a live performance by tbd. dance collective. This performance seeks to explore how the perceptions of others in our shared reality construct our individual realities.
It’s important that you feel enveloped by the production which is why performances will exist in four separate intimate experiences. There will be a limited amount of seats at each screening for optimal viewing and intention of a deeper connection to the created environment.
Parts of the performance will exist in different spaces, which will require limited movement. Please reach out if you have any mobility restrictions so we can accommodate to your needs.

This performance is part of the MOVEMENT series, a collaboration between KANEKO and tbd. dance collective. We present multidisciplinary performances focused on modern and contemporary dance that investigate the choreographic process and foster collaboration.
tbd. dance collective
tbd. is a modern and contemporary dance collective founded in 2014 by a group of artists and dancers who want to create, learn, explore, and perform together. Operating under the belief that movement can be one of the most powerful tools of communication one can possess, and provide the medium in which we connect, it is their goal to provide accessible dance experiences that enrich the community, and encourage critical dialogue about the presentation of modern and contemporary dance. With a creative process + vision built around exploration and collaboration, they produce multidisciplinary movement based performances and develop work that is highly imaginative, diverse in content and structure, and challenges perceptions of dance as an art form.
