New Volunteer Opportunity: KANEKO Connectors

KANEKO is establishing a new volunteer/docent program. Get in at the beginning, becoming one of KANEKO’s most important supporters by offering your time, knowledge and enthusiasm, while getting to know internationally recognized artists and visitors interested in contemporary art. Join the KANEKO Connectors!

Participate in training sessions, learning about KANEKO, its mission, its physical building and galleries, and the artists whose work is on display.

We are now looking for volunteers to assist as:

Gallery Hosts – Our exhibitions feature internationally recognized artists. As host, you will welcome visitors and talk to them about the works on display and the artist. (KANEKO hours: Thursday-Saturday 1-7 p.m. and Sunday 1-6 p.m.)

Special Events Hosts – As a host at KANEKO special events you would welcome and interact with guests and help with set up. (Events are usually on evenings and weekends when KANEKO is closed to public).

Tour Guides – You will receive training about the work on display and the artists enabling you to conduct pre-arranged tours for groups. (Generally during KANEKO hours, always by appointment.)

Other – We always welcome volunteers with special skills who want to help in the office, in our galleries (installation) or in boosting our presence on social media.
