Heartland Workers Center – Wall of Hope

At the Heartland Workers Center, we are working to challenge the highly charged rhetoric around immigration in our country. Instead of building walls that divide us, we are building a wall that brings us together – a wall composed of stories representing our hopes and dreams. Through our “Wall of Hope,” our goal is to share the stories of immigrants and refugees in Nebraska, who as individuals, workers, students, and families have helped to build and strengthen our communities across Nebraska.

The Wall of Hope will be displayed from 12 – 8 pm on June 1st. View the collected stories of immigrant and refugee neighbors through visual art attached to the wall, and take part in adding your own story to the wall. Learn More ->

Simulation in Motion-Nebraska

Simulation in Motion-Nebraska (SIM-NE) is a statewide, mobile education system, which brings state-of-the-art, hands-on training, using high fidelity human patient simulators, to pre-hospital and hospital professionals throughout the state.

From 4 – 6 pm, climb inside the 44ft long truck and experience the real medical and rescue equipment that rural providers use in the field! Learn More ->
