For your information:
Join us for our 2021 Creative Camps and spend the summer in exploration! We are excited to announce that we have moved to a 100% donation-based model to make Creative camps available to all learners in our community regardless of their financial ability. We have also added camps for 3rd-6th graders AND each Creative Camp will work together on projects that will be displayed at KANEKO!
Creative Camps at KANEKO are for learners interested in exploring creativity and its intersection with art, education, science, design, technology, and philosophy. The KANEKO team and local professionals will provide a summer of STEAM-based activities in Ceramics Philosophy, Architecture, and our two NEW camps: Mural Design and Light Space Video Installation.
Camps are held Monday through Friday: 9 am – 4 pm
Materials will be provided by the KANEKO
Lunch and snacks are provided and we will make every effort to have lunch in our outdoor spaces. If your camper has any dietary restrictions, please let us know after you register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Camp t-shirts will be provided for each camper- you will be prompted to provide a size when you register.
COVID-19 POLICY: We are uniquely equipped to manage a restricted number of learners due to our large gallery space and have carefully adhered to city, state, and federal COVID-19 guidelines. Campers, instructors, and all KANEKO employees will be required to physically distance and wear masks at all times. Disinfecting stations will be provided in every class space and we have recently installed HVAC plasma filtration products to assure excellent air filtration at all times.
