Dr. John Brady has been playing pipes for 25 years. He is the Pipe Major of Omaha Pipes and Drums, which has operated as a non-profit organization for 50 years. The band offers free instruction in piping and drumming to anyone who wants it.
Dr. Brady’s other job is as a family practice physician at the Community Alliance, another Omaha non-profit that offers a wide range of services to adults with mental illness. He is also a husband, a father, a gardener, and an Air Force veteran.
