The Intimacy of Small Things

Enjoy a special opportunity to talk with a composer about the work he is performing.

KANEKO is proud to feature composer and musician Mathew Fuerst playing the first public performance of his new composition The Intimacy of Small Things on KANEKO’s new grand piano. Fuerst will also share reflections with the audience about his new music, inspirations and creative process.

Thanks to the Omaha Symphony for making this program possible.

Fuerst’s composition Prelude to Britten’s “Four Sea Interludes” from Peter Grimes will be performed by the Omaha Symphony on October 25 – 26.
