Get inspired this summer with Camp For Me! — a vibrant, inclusive day camp designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Spina Bifida, genetic disorders, and other conditions.
This three-day camp runs from June 30 – July 2 and provides a supportive, creative environment filled with adaptive art experiences and opportunities for self-expression. Campers must be able to participate in a stimulating group setting that includes frequent transitions. Participants with significant medical needs who require nursing care during the school year are welcome to attend with their own licensed or registered nurse.
Camp For Me! is powered by the inspiring work of Arts For ME!, an organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through adaptive art education. Using a proven four-pillar approach — Collaboration, Lesson Planning, Structure and Cycles, and Support — Arts For ME!builds enriching experiences for all learners.
Kick off the summer at the “Arts For ME!” Exhibition!
Before camp begins, families and the community are invited to the Arts For ME! Exhibition, running May 8 – June 8 at KANEKO. This powerful show celebrates four years of Adapted Art at Westside High School, and two years each at Westside Middle School and Millard North Middle School. It highlights the creativity and talent of students in the program and is made possible thanks to the Westside Community Schools Foundation, private donors, the Nebraska Arts Council, KANEKO, guest artists, and renowned glass artist Therman Statom.
Let the exhibition inspire you — and then join us at Camp For Me! to create your own!

A camp t-shirt, and snacks are included and campers will eat outside whenever possible. Shirt size and dietary restrictions will be requested during the registration process.
Campers may choose to have their projects included in a final Creative Camps Exhibition at KANEKO.
Our goal is to provide all campers with an experience filled with unique and distraction-free opportunities. All camper’s phones will be checked at the start of each session. While a short period of phone time is scheduled for each day, we aim to have a phone-free environment. Campers are always accessible to families through the KANEKO phones.
