John earned a degree in Finance and Economics, along with a certificate in International Business, from the University of Iowa. He is currently an Associate at M-One Capital, a private investment firm in Omaha that provides equity capital and strategic resources to its portfolio companies. Previously, he worked as an investment banker in Atlanta and Chicago.
John’s volunteer work has centered on youth development. He served as a coach and mentor with The First Tee of Central Iowa, helping kids build confidence and life skills through the game of golf. As an undergraduate, he co-founded Iowa City’s first Boys and Girls Club, which offered after-school programming and mentorship. He also launched a student organization to expand volunteer opportunities for his college peers.
His interest in art began with family collections and travels throughout Europe. While living in Atlanta, he developed a passion for contemporary art and began collecting works by local artists. Today, John is committed to fostering creative dialogue within the Omaha community.
