KANEKO, Cities of Papillion & La Vista, and Upstream Weeds will host H2Omaha at KANEKO as a part of the 2016 Nebraska Science Festival on Tuesday, April 19 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

H2Omaha at KANEKO is a FREE, public event hosted as a part of the city-wide Nebraska Sci-Fest, with a day full of family-friendly activities and water-themed fun at KANEKO.
We will be explore Backyard-Biology using citizen scientists, highlight area urban sustainability and stewardship efforts, and celebrate STE+[A]M innovation and creativity through multiple learning stations throughout the KANEKO galleries with scientific activities and experiments that the whole family can enjoy. This event is free and open to the public and is a part of the city-wide 2016 Nebraska Science Festival.

The Nebraska Science Festival began in 2013 as an initiative of UNMC, which continues to administer the festival with the assistance of a number of organizations and individuals interested in the advancement of science literacy. The Science Festival is designed to make science accessible, interactive, relevant and fun for kids and adults alike.
about Upstream Weeds
Upstream Weeds provides a variety of consulting services including Biological Engagement, Outreach, & Exploration. The partnership between the cities of Papillion and La Vista is a consortium of local organizations dedicated to promoting storm-water and watershed awareness.
