KANEKO and the Omaha Chamber Music Society  presented the third performance in the Eko Nova concert series, Tumble, Rag, Freylakh!

Tumble, Rag, Freylakh! took dance forms from both ancient and modern roots and transformed them through contemporary music. We heard works that stretched the idea of inversion, gymnastic feats of motion, Hasidic celebratory influences, and the ever-growing, ever-changing face of jazz. Kansas City-based musicians John Klinghammer, Noah Geller, Mari Yoshinaga and Sean Chen proved that you don’t need to know the steps to recognize the groove.

Musicians
Sean Chen – Piano
