Tia has always considered herself to be an aesthete. She spent her life believing that she could not master the paint brush and canvas so she decided to take a different approach to establish her own creativity. Fashion has always been a second nature for her. Styling became her form of art while clothing was her medium of choice.
Tia attended the University of Nebraska Omaha majoring in Psychology. It has always been her mission to help the community. Surprisingly, Tia discovered KANEKO by fate. She was looking for a place to study downtown and stopped into the KANEKO library. She was so drawn to the mission statement and atmosphere that she decided to apply for the gallery staff position.
What Tia enjoys most about being involved in special event coordinating is getting the opportunity to meet new faces in the art community. Tia believes the art community in Omaha is truly broad and needs to be explored. She is grateful that she gets the opportunity to be apart of the KANEKO team.
