Video Game Design Camp
KANEKO Video Game Design Camps are an opportunity for students to engage with local professionals to learn about the principles and processes of video game design. Each four-day camp provides a group of 16 students a variety of exciting exercises and fun activities.
Video Game Design Camp // July 31 – August 3
Campers will be introduced to the history of game theory, learn about rule-based systems and interactive narrative design, practice creating games collaboratively and explore what it means to engage in meaningful play. Students will also be exposed to analog game forms, the Unity 3D development environment, as well as Blender and Adobe Photoshop software applications.
Camps are for ages 12 – 15.
Registration is $225 ($200 for KANEKO Members, learn more about KANEKO membership HERE) and includes all materials and lunches, as well as a KANEKO Camp t-shirt and notebook. *Members must log into Altru to claim your membership rate*
Camps run Monday – Thursday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off Policies – KANEKO does not offer before or after care for any of our current camp offerings. Please review the KANEKO Camps Pick-Up/Drop-Off Policy waiver upon registration.
Scholarships – KANEKO offers a limited number of camp scholarships to students who qualify. Students must be enrolled in a free and reduced lunch program at school to qualify.
