The Eko Nova concert series continued with a special pre-Valentine’s day event, Eko Nova: Wine & Chocolate.

Throughout Eko Nova’s Fiery Red musical sets, guests sampled sublime pairings of wine and chocolate provided by renowned Lange Winery and STAM Chocolaterie. We experienced inspiring musical works and learned how the respective flavor bodies of wine and chocolate meet on your palette for an unexpected and delightful experience.

About Lange Estate Winery
Lange Estate is known for crafting beautifully balanced wines from fruit grown on the winery Estate, located in the heart of the prestigious Dundee Hills appellation. To further supplement our case production, the Langes purchase additional fruit from the best vineyards in the surrounding area. Long-standing relationships with these blue-ribbon sites have helped the winery establish a well-deserved reputation for consistency and complexity in the wines.

About STAM
In 1913, the Stam family opened Chocolaterie Stam in Holland. Over 80 years later, in 1997, founder Jacobus Stam’s grandson, Ton Stam, brought the same traditional recipes for fine European chocolates to the United States when he opened the first Chocolaterie Stam store in Des Moines. Today, the same family is operating the same company on both sides of the pond. Chocolaterie Stam was introduced following the success of the Stam family bakery in Holland after gaining a reputation for quality pastries and chocolates. All of the chocolate bonbons distributed in the US are prepared by Dutch Master Chocolatier, Erik Stam, at the company’s facility on Bell Avenue in Des Moines.
