3D Design and Fabrication Camp

Intended for kids ages 12-15, KANEKO 3D Design and Fabrication Camp is an opportunity for students to engage with local professionals to learn about the principles and processes of 3D design and rapid prototyping. This 8-day camp takes place over 2 weeks and provides a group of 16 students a variety of exciting exercises and fun activities.

This 8-day camp will focus on Computer-Aided Design (CAD), 3D modeling, 3D printing, and fabrication. Campers will get a firm understanding of advanced science and technology concepts related to rapid prototyping and learn first-hand how the technology is being used in art, design, medicine, and manufacturing. Students will learn to design their own 3D models using programs like 123D Design and Sketchup.
Registration is $325 ($300 for KANEKO Members, learn more about KANEKO membership HERE) and includes all materials and lunches, as well as a KANEKO Camp t-shirt and notebook. Camps run Monday – Thursday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. To register your student, click on one of the camps above.
KANEKO does not offer before or after care for any of our current camp offerings. Please review the KANEKO Camps Pick-Up/Drop-Off Policy waiver upon registration.
KANEKO offers a limited number of camp scholarships to students who qualify. Students must be enrolled in a free and reduced lunch program at school to qualify.
